I’m Sabrina, a freelance food photographer since 2015 and more recently (2020) a proud Backdrop Shop owner.
In May 2021 I made myself a home in Emmerich am Rhein, right at the German-Dutch border, and from there I work in my small studio with customers and cooperation partners from all over the world.
I like to travel at least as much as I enjoy caring for my 30+ houseplants at home and I’d be happy to come to your location (alongside with my equipment) to work on fun projects.

Since 2015 I have been constantly working and gaining new experience for projects in the digital and print sectors.
In 2019, during the many lockdowns, I worked more intensively in the field of videography which now makes up a good 3/4 of my current job enquiries.
In my home office I like to work alone and create all the content myself, starting from creating a recipe to the final photo (or video).
However, I also like to work in a team every now and then. In particular, I have come to appreciate the close cooperation with graphic designers for print products a lot. Such collaborations are possible digitally (via zoom call) but also in person.

Communication is queen
In my opinion, food photography is a synergy of professional expertise, a lot of creativity, a talent for improvisation and reliable, clear communication at eye level.
When we harmonise with one another and have the same vision in mind, the end result can only be good. That’s why I take a lot of time to get to know my customers first and to understand their wishes (and ideally detailed briefings).
